About the project:
An online store specializing in selling electronics in Saudi Arabia. We started working and the site had almost no presence on Google, no significant organic visits, no well-arranged keywords, and no domain. We were the ones who linked the domain to the store on the Salla platform.
Store Name: Assr Alriyada
Field: Electronics Store
CMS: Salla platform
Country: Saudi Arabia
Work Duration: 3 months
The Challenge:
Before I started, the store was suffering from:
Poor product and related keyword visibility in search results.
Lack of high-ranking keywords on Google.
No real organic traffic and no impact on sales through SEO.
No domain connection.
The user interface (UIUX) was very poor.
There was no product content or descriptions.
What did I do?
- We built a six-month SEO roadmap, but I focused on executing the core SEO actions over the first three months:
- Connected the domain and verified that the sitemap and robots.txt were configured and indexed correctly.
- Worked within Salla’s closed platform limitations and implemented all possible technical optimizations.
- Conducted keyword research for high-demand electronics products and models in the Saudi market.
- Optimized product pages, including titles, descriptions, meta tags, and on-page content structure.
- Improved category/collection pages to target broader, high-volume search terms.
- Fixed speed and mobile responsiveness issues to enhance the overall user experience.
- Wrote and refined product copy in simple, clear language focused on purchase intent.
- Continuously monitored performance in Google Search Console and iterated on the strategy based on the data.
Results in Numbers
Over the first three months of work, we achieved:
My comment on the project:
- The transformation from zero to tens of thousands of impressions and over a thousand organic clicks in a relatively short period (3 months) happened because the focus was on:
- Understanding the search intent of the customer.
- Improving the user experience.
- Optimizing the product pages themselves instead of relying solely on ads.
- Monitoring the numbers from Search Console and continuously adjusting the strategy.
