Davli Residence | SEO Results
A website for Davli Residence, a Saudi brand specializing in furnished and serviced apartments in Riyadh. Work on optimizing the website’s search performance continued for Seven months, and we faced many challenges in a highly competitive real-estate market, which we overcame thanks to the strategy we developed, ultimately turning the site into a strong, consistent source of leads.
- Client: Davli Residence
- Field: Real Estate / Furnished & Serviced Apartments
- CMS: WordPress
- Country: Saudi Arabia
- Work Duration: 7 months
The Challenge
Before I started, the website was struggling with:
- A new domain with very low authority and almost no presence in search results.
- No organic leads at all — the website was generating no real return for the business.
- No visibility on Google’s first pages, and no presence in AI search results (AI Overviews / AI assistants).
- Technical issues affecting indexing, along with broken pages that weakened crawlability and overall site health.
- Very low organic traffic (~420 visits) and a weak backlink profile.
- High competition on key terms such as “apartments for rent in Riyadh” and neighborhood-specific searches.
What did I do?
Over six months, I implemented a full SEO and content plan focused on fixing the technical foundation and driving real, qualified leads:
- Performed a technical SEO audit and, working with the development team, resolved indexing issues and fixed broken pages to strengthen crawlability and site health.
- Built a comprehensive keyword strategy and a topic-cluster content map covering Riyadh’s neighborhoods (Al Malaz, Al Olaya, Al Raid, Al Murabba, Al Nadwa, Tumair) and different search intents.
- Planned and wrote 90+ SEO articles in Arabic and English (pillar + supporting content), optimized for both Google and AI search engines.
- Executed a link-building strategy, including a full backlink audit and a disavow file to improve domain health.
- Optimized the Google Business Profile to strengthen local visibility on Google Search and Maps.
- Optimized key pages with better titles, meta descriptions, headings, and on-page content aligned with user search intent.
- Continuously monitored performance in Google Search Console and Semrush, adjusting the strategy based on real data.
Results in Numbers
During the six months of work, we achieved the following:
Organic Visibility:
- The website moved from no visibility to ranking on Google’s first pages for target keywords.
- Gained a strong presence in AI search results after previously having no appearance at all.
Organic Traffic:
- Organic traffic grew by approximately 562% (from ~420 to ~2.8K monthly visits).
- Semrush Rank improved from 208K to 82.7K — an advance of more than 125,000 positions.
Authority:
- Backlinks increased by 115% (from 92 to 198).
- Referring domains grew by 79% (from 62 to 111).
Leads and Conversions:
- Organic leads increased by 100% — the website went from generating no return to becoming a strong, consistent source of leads coming from both Google and AI.
Overall, the website transformed from a low-visibility, zero-return asset into a reliable channel for new customer inquiries and bookings.

My comment on the project
The key to this project’s success was treating SEO as more than ranking for keywords. The focus was on:
- Fixing the critical technical foundations: indexing, broken pages, site structure, and crawlability.
- Building a clear, intent-driven content strategy tailored to how people actually search for apartments in Riyadh.
- Optimizing for the new search landscape — appearing not only on Google’s first pages but also in AI-powered search.
- Using data from Search Console and Semrush to iterate continuously, rather than treating SEO as a one-time setup.
